Kijana Kwanza has recently purchased a 7-acre site on the outskirts of Moshi Town in Tanzania to set up a working farm. The agricultural site will enable us to become self-sufficient – the harvest will feed the children and young people in our care and any surplus will support the costs of their education.
The plot also has exceptional views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest summit!
To launch the project, we are seeking a pro-bono landscaper to help us map out our ideas and draw a professional design that will include space for traditional crops, livestock and hydroponic farming.
