Romance has been raging at Kijana Kwanza, and this last week, we hosted a double wedding for two of our vocational student, Levina (Diploma in Business) and Latifa (Diploma in Journalism). Levina married Kisra, our Computer Teacher and a former Kijana Kwanza student, and Latifa married Ahmadi, who works for a local NGO, down the road.
Characteristically the 6pm event started well past 9pm, dinner was served at 12:30am and the entertainment continued till 3am, only cut short by a power cut.
Congratulations to the newly weds from all the staff and volunteers and may they have prosperous futures ahead of them.
